Materials
  • Most Superchute® sections are made of YELLOW High Molecular Weight Polyethylene
  • HMWPE is resistant to abrasion, chemicals and cold weather
  • Clients in Alaska & other cold climates appreciate its low temperature impact resistance of -100 ºC (-156 ºF)
  • In hot weather the plastic will become a little softer
  • Bright yellow plastic (safety-minded color) shows off your company name plate
  • Many thicknesses available
  • UV treated

Wraparound® Black Fire Retardant UHMWPE Plastic Sections

  • Fire retardant chutes for Boston, New York, nuclear power plants, mines, military
  • More abrasion resistant and durable than yellow plastic, aluminum or steel
  • Acceptable working temperature between -100°C to 80°C (-148°F to 176°F)
  • 1/4? Wall thickness – dent resistant wall for very little weight
  • Low noise during use
  • Fire hazard warning on each section
  • Available in any diameter

Black FR Regular Section
  • We build custom Superchute® sections using BLUE Ultra High Molecular Weight Polyethylene for large quantities of abrasive materials
  • UHMWPE is five times more abrasion resistant than the yellow plastic
  • Low temperature impact resistance: -70 ºC (-94 ºF)
  • Melting temperature: 137 ºC (280 ºF)
  • Max recommended working temperature: 80°C (180°F)
  • Many thicknesses available
  • UV treated
  • We build custom Superchute® sections using GREY Ultra High Molecular Weight Polyethylene for extremely hot materials
  • UHMWPE is five times more abrasion resistant than the yellow plastic
  • Low temperature impact resistance: -70 ºC (-94 ºF)
  • Melting temperature: 150 ºC (300 ºF)
  • Max recommended working temperature: 135°C (275°F)
  • Primarily designed for carrying hot asphalt in truck beds
  • Many thicknesses available
  • UV treated
