Taller chute systems can be assembled in piggyback fashion where the chute load is shared over several frames. Use a Superchute® Fishpole or a crane to raise the length of chute, mate it to the length below and chain it to the support frame.
Piggyback frames every few floors to achieve a maximum chute height of 200 ft. Piggybacking allows the chute to be lengthened quickly without disturbing lengths of chute that are already suspended from levels below. As building levels are added additional frames and chute lengths can be added. Contact Superchute® if you need to go higher than 200 ft.
Reasons why a single Superchute® support frame cannot be used:
- The chute weight exceeds the working load limit of the frame
- The building is new, under construction & not yet topped out
- The structural strength of the building is inadequate for a single suspension
